Sosefina Fuamoli is an award winning Samoan-Australian music journalist, broadcaster, and content producer.
Her work has been featured in a number of titles including Rolling Stone Australia, Junkee, NME Australia, Time Out, Beat Magazine, The Age, The Australian and more. Sosefina’s essays have also been published by the Australian Music Vault.
She can currently be heard hosting weekly music interview show ‘On The Record’, for ABC Pacific / Radio Australia, as well as ‘Sista Sounds’ - a dedicated radio show on the network to amplifying women’s voices throughout the Oceanic region.
Since 2010, Sosefina has worked in domestic and international fields; profiling artists and events in North America, Europe and the U.K., while championing Australian music, emerging artists and above all, a more diverse and culturally enhanced music culture.
She is a two-time winner of the ‘Live Music Journalist’ award for the National Live Music Awards (2020, 2023).
Since 2021, Sosefina has hosted R&B show ‘Window Seat’ on 3RRR FM. She previously co-hosted ‘The Scenario’ on Kiss FM and has also enjoyed guest hosting stints on Double J and triple j.
Sosefina is also an industry speaker and facilitator, having appeared on and hosted keynote discussions at events including Splendour in the Grass, Melbourne Music Week, CHANGES Festival, Melbourne Writers Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival and BIGSOUND.
From 2015 - 2023, Sosefina served as a judge for the Australian Music Prize, and currently sits on panels for APRA Music Awards, National Indigenous Music Awards, Music Victoria Awards and the ARIA Awards.
